Hi, I'm Ashley- owner and operator of Safe Haven Cookie Co.
What started as a personal journey has grown into a true passion and purpose-driven business. I've been living gluten-free for over 15 years, and over the past decade, I've become an allergy-friendly baker out of necessity for my family. Between us, we manage a wide range of dietary needs, including autoimmune conditions, celiac disease, EoE, and anaphylactic allergies.
Through this experience I've learned that food isn't just about enjoyment- it's about safety, trust and inclusion.
That's why I've created Safe Haven Cookie Co, a place where individuals and families like mine can experience the joy of fresh, delicious baked goods without fear. My goal is simple- to provide treats that feel safe, special and inclusive to all because everyone deserves a cookie they can trust.
To ensure the highest level of care, I've built a completely seperate dedicated bakery space within my home. This allows me to focus entirely on producing gourmet, allergy-friendly cookies in an environment designed with safety in mind. All equipment is dedicated from the start and is used exclusively for this purpose.
I have completed training in food safety and allergen awareness for food processing so every step of my process is guided by knowledge, care and responsibility.
While no home-based business can guarantee the complete elimination of cross-contamination due to testing limitations, I go above and beyond to minimize risk. I follow strict cleaning protocols and handle all ingredients with the utmost care and attention.
My bakery is free from gluten, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs. It's also vegan-friendly!
